After a shaky start to the night, the Newmarket Dominos were in outstanding form. Playing against the Chelmsford Volleyball Club, they won all three sets easily.

The first set started slowly for the Dominos since they brought two newcomers to the team, Eric Alber as middle hitter and Nick Mezanov on the outside. Once they got their feet planted and the offense down, the team were unstoppable. The first two sets' tone was set by the jump serving of Peter Gale and the pinpoint passing of Eric Alber. Both match point kills went to Nick. The third set saw more superb setting by Rob Dovaston and Ben Child and they gave Paul Freeman a free run in the middle to put down untouched kills....The final score was 25-22, 25-18, and 25-13.
