Find a Venue!

We seem to have endless trouble finding some of the arena's that we grace, despite visiting most of them twice a year. This was further in evidence when yours truly got the team lost, and this with a map to hand! Consequently, I have started to put together some maps. Hope these are useful!

For starters, for those outside hitters (and those who don't come training much) here is how to find us!

From the A14 take the A142 exit signposted for Ely. From Ipswich this is the second Newmarket exit. From Cambridge it is the exit after the BP garages.

At the end of the slip road follow signs towards Newmarket and take the first exit off the first roundabout at Burger King. At the next roundabout take the second exit right which takes you past Tesco. Follow this round a few bends and eventually go left at the T junction. This is Exning Road.

Continue down Exning Road, over the traffic lights, over the mini roundabout by the Cherry Tree pub and the Sportscentre is about 100yds on your right hand side.


If you are coming through the town centre, at the Clock Tower head towards Exning and the Hospital
(no A & E). They are ripping the Clocktower up as i Write, so good luck finding your way through the mess! The road forks on the corner so stay left. This takes you past the multi-storey car park and the road bends to the right and then up the hill. This is Exning Road. The Sports Centre is about 600 yds up the hill on your left.
